Capacity Building of PNGOs under USAID funded Bangladesh AIDS Program (Mar 2005 –Sep 2009)

RTM International was a partner of FHI Bangladesh in the implementation of ’Bangladesh AIDS Program’ funded by USAID. RTM International worked to promote the accountability of the implementing NGOs in Program Management and augment their planning and performance skills necessary to build a more sustainable program. The interventions covered: (a) Capacity assessment of over 40 NGOs to identify and sort out NGOs with skill and knowledge gaps (b) Development of training modules, trainer’s handbook, participant’s handbook, pre & post training evaluation toolkits, (c) training of NGO staff on participatory appraisal, institution development, leadership skills and financial management (d) on-site mentoring and technical assistance in developing organizational capacity.
