Training an Active Management of the Third Stage of Labor (AMTSL) (Jan - June 2008)

The "National task Force on Prevention of Post-Partum Haemorrhage" recommended training on ’Active Management of Third Stage of Labor’ for GoB and NGO service providers (doctors, nurses and FWVs) who provide maternal health services at the facility level. In collaboration with the Directorate General of Health Services and the Directorate of Family Planning and under the guidance and support of EngederHealth, RTM International provided this training to 705 service providers of the districts of Sylhet, Sunamgonj, Habigonj, Moulvibazar and Brahmanbaria. In addition, orientation programs were organized for 375 community skilled Birth Attendants.
