Job Responsibilities:
• Assist the Medical Doctor in conducting health examinations, including history taking, measurements, administering treatments, managing and dispensing medicines, immunizations, and performing medical procedures.
• Maintain high-quality care by adhering to established clinical guidelines and protocols.
• Prepare patients for examinations and perform routine diagnostic checks, such as monitoring pulse, temperature, and blood pressure, as well as administering medications and injections.
• Record patient care activities by regularly updating the patient register and other relevant documentation. Assist the Medical Doctor in preparing daily reports for submission.
• Provide guidance and assistance in patient triage, infection prevention and control, counseling, and ensuring cleanliness.
• Support outreach health programs by coordinating with partner health NGOs and volunteers, and contribute to community health and preventive activities.
• Maintain and monitor a daily checklist of all medical and delivery equipment and supplies, ensuring that medical kits are organized, fully stocked, and all items are within their expiration dates.
• Assist the Medical Doctor in identifying priority health needs and participate in activities such as disease outbreak monitoring, collecting statistical data, and engaging in health awareness campaigns.
• Aid in the dispensing of medicines, maintaining accurate records, managing stock, preparing reports, and submitting medicine requisitions.
• Participate in field missions outside the duty station when required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervising authority.
Job Location:
Ukhia Upazila of Cox’s bazar.
Educational requirements:
• Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery with BNMC registration.
Experience and other Requirements:
Minimum 1- year experience in the related field.
The Following capabilities are mandatory:
• Working experience at Rohingya refugee camp will be an asset.
• Good communication skills in both English and Bangla.
• Knowing the Chattagram language will be an asset for the candidates.
