Job Announcement for the position of Outreach Supervisor
Research, Training and Management (RTM) International NGO working in the
Cox’s Bazar to implement different projects supported by Government of
Bangladesh, UNFPA, UNICEF and others development partners. To provide
Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) services in different location RTM
requires to fill up some vacancies in Outreach Supervisor positions.

• Job Responsibilities:
1. Working as part of a team to design and deliver a range of innovative community outreach and engagement activities around the communities;
2. Developing and sustaining positive relationships with a range of people, including residents, community leaders, local groups and organizations, and local authorities;
3. Recruiting and supporting local people to become volunteers and active leaders in their community, and ensuring that they remain engaged and involved;
4. Working as part of a team to support and sustain community-led action around issues related to health and wellbeing, as identified by them;
5. Publicizing the SRHR-GBV project through flyers, posters, social media, and networking with residents, local groups, and organizations;
6. Working as part of a team to organize and hold events that draw in and involve local residents and partners;
7. Prepare monthly target and activities plan for thyself and outreach staffs;
8. Ensure BCC component of the Programme is in place;
9. Work in close collaboration and coordination with field staffs;
10. Supervising the activities of the Outreach Worker, CHWs/CHVs for SRHR activities focusing on Family Planning activities;
11. Organize Monthly group meetings, continuous one-to-one meetings, on job training/coaching to build the capacity of OW/CHWs/CHVs;
12. Explaining the FP methods especially to the male users;
13. Monitor and validate the information collected by OW/CHWs/CHVs and provide feedback to the birthing unit;
14. Monitoring the proper distribution of commodities to the users including Courtyard meetings;
15. Daily reporting of the field activities on FP to Program Officer-Community Based Outreach Network Program (PO-CBON) and pregnancy and newborn-related information to the Medical Officer-RH;
16. Attending the monthly coordination meeting with CIC/CMC/BMC/Majhi/Govt, religious leaders, adolescents, and their parents to prevent early marriage and to minimize the gaps in the FP services, and prevent dropout;
17. Organize and Attend regular awareness-raising sessions and meeting to increase awareness on SRH especially on maternal health, FP, and newborn care in the community;
18. To work on contract tracing and regular community-based surveillance in the community and reporting;
19. Ensuring uninterrupted family planning commodity supply by correctly recording the number of eligible couples, timely placing requirements, and timely collecting the supplied commodities from UHC;
20. Organize LARC Camp for strengthening the LARC services and establish a strong network with the FP department;
21. Organize Monthly coordination meetings with the field level volunteers to improve the field level service delivery by the Community volunteers;
22. Helping the Nurse/Paramedic-FP for preparing the monthly report of field activities on FP and timely submission to the PO (CBON) and Medical Coordinator/ respective UFPO;
23. Periodic follow up(F/U) of the method users and intensive F/U during any side effect;
24. To assist regular updating of the registration of eligible couples, the listing of pregnant mothers, etc.;
25. Take advice and support from the Field Coordinator and PO-CBON for any administrative issues and Medical Coordinator and MO-RH for any technical issues;
26. Organize Blood Donation camp and collect blood donors to manage critical patients;
27. Work in coordination with the donor agencies (UNFPA, UNHCR, WHO, and others and GoB officials);
28. Any other duties are required by the Supervisor/line manager in line with the grade of the post.

• Educational requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized university. Master’s degree will add extra value)
• Experience and other Requirements:
• Around 1-year progressive experience in implementation of Community outreach programs.
• Candidates with proficiency in Chattagram language will be given preference.
• Good communication skills in both English and Bangla
