Job Summary:
RTM International is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Trainer to deliver Soft Skills Training Program for Rohingya youth in Cox’s Bazar. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering engaging and effective training sessions to large number of participants with essential soft skills needed for personal and professional development. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a meaningful project that empowers a marginalized community.

Job Duties and responsibilities:

Training Development (20%)

o    Collaborate with the program team to develop a comprehensive training curriculum aligned with the program objectives and Rohingya community needs.
o    Design engaging and interactive training modules focusing on core soft skills like communication, teamwork, problem-solving, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
o    Develop culturally appropriate training materials (e.g., handouts, presentations, activities) considering language barriers and educational backgrounds.

Training Delivery (60%)

o    Facilitate interactive training sessions for groups of Rohingya youth, utilizing a variety of teaching methods (e.g., lectures, discussions, role-playing, case studies).
o    Employ adult learning principles to create a safe and inclusive learning environment that fosters participation and active learning.
o    Adapt training delivery based on participant needs and learning styles, ensuring clear communication and effective knowledge transfer.
o    Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor participant progress and make adjustments to the training program as needed.

Monitoring and Evaluation (10%)
o    Develop and implement assessment tools to evaluate participant learning and program effectiveness.
o    Maintain accurate records of training attendance, participant progress, and feedback.
o    Contribute to the development of program reports by providing data and insights.

Collaboration and Relationship Building (10%)
o    Collaborate effectively with program staff, interpreters, and other stakeholders to ensure program success.
o    Build rapport with Rohingya youth, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
o    Act as a cultural bridge between the program and the Rohingya community.


Technical Skills and Experience:
• Proven experience as a trainer or facilitator, preferably in a humanitarian context.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and methodologies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to develop engaging and culturally appropriate training materials.
• Experience working with refugees or marginalized communities (highly desirable).
• Fluency in Bengali or Rohingya language (a plus).
• Experience with monitoring and evaluation techniques.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Additional Requirements and Notes:
• The training program will be conducted in Cox’s Bazar refugee camps.
• The position requires flexibility and adaptability to work in a challenging environment.
