Job Circular for the position of Clinic Coordinator

 

Research, Training, and Management International (RTMI) is a national NGO, HQ is in Dhaka and Field Office in Ukhiya, Cox’s Bazar. Apart from the research and training components, RTMI is also managing a number of projects in health, nutrition, protection and livelihoods. All these programs are supported by the Government of Bangladesh, donor agencies with UN and International organizations, e.g. UNFPA, WB, UNICEF, IOM, UN Women, etc.

RTM International is going to appoint Clinical Coordinator (Female) to provide monitoring, on-job training (OJT) and quality assurance for SRHR services in our working area of the host population in all the upazilas (Sadar, Ukhiya, Teknaf, Ramu, Chokoria, Moheshkhali, Kutubdia and Pekua) of Cox’s Bazar District.

Requirements:

Educational requirements:
• Medical Doctor (MBBS) with a specialization in Public Health or relevant field. Must have the BMDC registration certificate.
• MPH degree will be preferred.

Employment requirement and areas:
• Candidates with relevant working experience (1-2 years’ experience) in an emergency context will get preference.
• Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and methodologies.
• Experience in developing and implementing quality assurance plans.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Fluency in Chattagram local language will be given preference.

Job Responsibilities:
1.  To act as focal point for inquiries on the health facilities response plans and operations.
2.  To provide technical support, advice, and technical guidance to health facility /center front line staff for delivering quality SRH services.
3.  Regular monitoring SRHR services and ensures quality and compliance with MoH/WHO standers, and identifying training and improvement needs promptly.
4.  To maintain regular communication with facility staff through frequent visits and support implementation of SRHR activities.
5.  To continuously conduct reviews and audits of response measures for accuracy and appropriateness, preparation of reports, and working with clinic staff to correct any issues.
6.  To ensure timely, effective and coordinated health responses base on participatory and community-based approaches.
7.  To work closely with health facility service providers (Doctor/Midwives/Lab Technician etc.) and all staff to design and implement SRHR, in close coordination with other health sector actors.
8.  To plan for the field visit in monitoring purpose to identify the gaps and challenges of the program also generate ideas to implementation plan to mitigate the challenges.
9.  To identify and report SRHR service needs, challenges, and any issues on time, and propose innovative and cost-effective solutions to resolve issues
10. To ensure Evidence-based actions, gap filling and sound coordination; and enhance accountability, predictability and effectiveness of humanitarian health actions.
11. To ensure delivery and rational use of commodities/supplies provided by the UNFPA/RTMI
12. To prepare daily updates on SRHR activities situation and directives issued by stakeholders.
13. To provides on job training (OJT) to midwives to ensure their practice is consistent with the regulatory framework.
14. To periodic check for updating medical records, managing patient admissions, maintaining supplies etc.
15. To attend Health related meeting with GoB, donor and other stakeholders
16. To promote Emergency Response Actions while at the same time considering the need for early recovery planning as well as prevention and risk reduction concerns.
17. To accompany visitors in the facilities from donors, GoB and other national/international delegates for explaining regarding our health services.
18. Any other responsibility assigned by the authority.
