Research, Training, and Management International (RTMI) is a national NGO, head quarter is in Dhaka and a Field Office in Ukhiya, Cox’s Bazar. Apart from the research and training components, RTMI is also managing a number of projects in health, nutrition, protection and livelihoods. All these programs are supported by the Government of Bangladesh, donor agencies with UN and International organizations, e.g. UNFPA, WB, UNICEF, IOM, UN Women, etc. To support, coordinate and manage Comprehensive PHC Services to Rohingya Refugees and Host Community, RTMI needs a dynamic, proactive and hard-working team player for its Cox’s Bazar Field Office team being based in Ukhiya. Educational requirements    :
• Educational requirement: BSc/BSS/Paramedic/Nurse-Midwife
• At least 2 years’ relevant experience at FDMN Camp setting with emergency response.
• Female candidates are mandatory to apply for this position.
• Local/Chittagonian candidates are eligible only for this position.
• Good communication and coordination skill.

Employment requirement and areas:
• Candidates with relevant working experience in an emergency context will get preference.
• Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and methodologies.
• Experience in developing and implementing quality assurance plans.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of PSEA (Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse).

Experience and other Requirements: 
Following capabilities are mandatory –
• Good communication skills in Bangla and English.
• Chattagram local language fluency is a must. Work experience at Rohiynga refugee camp will be an asset.

Job Responsibilities:
In collaboration and under the direction of Project Manager/Nutrition Specialist, the IYCF Counselor will perform:
• Develop weekly and monthly work plan to improve IYCF practice as per the national guideline.
• Perform appropriate assessments and do analysis of IYCF needs as well as malpractices to set recommendations.
• Provide appropriate counseling for pregnant and lactating women or caregivers on Breast Feeding, Complementary Feeding, Maternal and Child Nutrition, Hygiene Practices.
• Document case studies regularly and share them to the management for official documentation.
• Ensure to build the capacity of CHV Supervisor and CHWs on the community IYCF counseling techniques and ensure that the appropriate techniques are applied all the time.
• Help to identify/develop appropriate IYCF related IEC materials and flash cards in local language and ensure that the materials are used during each counseling
• Develop work plan to improve IYCF practice as per national guideline and give technical guidance for the nutrition.
• Perform appropriate assessments of IYCF needs and malpractices and do analysis    and come up with clear recommendations
• Build the capacity of CHV Supervisor and CHWs on the community IYCF counseling techniques and ensure that the appropriate techniques are applied all the time
• Ensure formation of the mother support group at the community level and community IYCF counseling conducted for the group members on regular basis
• Identify model mothers and explore their best experience and replicate the best experience in order to improve IYCF practice within the community
• Ensure setting up of breast-feeding corners at each SDPs
• Provide appropriate counseling for Pregnant and Lactating Women, care takers of beneficiaries and mother groups on Exclusive Breast Feeding, Complementary feeding and maternal and child nutrition
• Document case studies regularly and share to the team member and others.
• Produce monthly report regarding IYCF activities and submit to Nutrition Specialist on time
• Any other relevant task given by higher authority.
