Job Circular for the position of Training Officer
RTM International is a Research, Training, and Management (RTM) NGO working in the Cox’s Bazar district of Bangladesh to implement different projects supported by the Government of Bangladesh, UNFPA, UNHCR, UNICEF, and other development partners. To provide technical support and training facilitations under Infant and Young Child Feeding (IYCF) counseling service for vulnerable Rohingya communities, RTM is recruiting skilled professional for the position:

• Contractual.
Job Responsibility:
In collaboration and under the direction of Project Manager/Nutrition Specialist, the Training Officer will perform:
• Develop weekly and monthly work plan towards accomplishment of the AWP and monitor the plan accordingly.
• Help to develop action plan to improve IYCF practice as per national guideline and provide technical guidance.
• Assessment of training needs of the service providers.
• Provides nutrition related all training supports to the program.
• Assessment of IYCF needs and malpractices and do analysis with recommendations.
• Ensure to build the capacity of CHV Supervisor and CHWs on the community IYCF counseling techniques and ensure that the appropriate techniques are applied all the time.
• Help to identify/develop appropriate IYCF related IEC materials and flash cards in local language and ensure that the materials are used during each counseling
• Any other responsibility assigned by the authority.

Education Requirements:
• B.Sc (Hons) and M.Sc in Nutrition Science is mandatory (candidates with a post-graduation degree in MPH will be given preference).
Experience and other Requirements:
• At least 2 years’ relevant experience at FDMN Camp setting with emergency response.
• Female candidates are mandatory to apply for this position.
• Local/Chittagonian candidates will be given preference.
• Good communication and spoken English capabilities, along with basic IT knowledge, are essential.
