Announcement for Consultant (for Policy review and development)

 

RTM International is going to appoint skilled professional in the following positions for Dhaka Office. For the recruitment of Local/National Individual Consultant for development and/or adopt of Guidelines/Manual/policy. 
RTM International is implementing the project ‘To enhance advocacy and leadership capacities to promote gender, women’s empowerment’, GBV and social cohesion for Rohingya women and women-led organizations with the financial support from UN Women

Name of the Position:
• Consultant (for Policy review and development).

Duration:
• One (01) month.

Job Responsibility:
• Analyzing and reviewing RTMIs current policies and guidelines to identify anomalies and redundancies;
• Developing a range of policy options and providing advice on preferred options;
• To provide a set of recommendations in reference to gaps identified in the policy and ensure the policies are in line with the recommended standards;
• Ensuring that policies and policy amendments meet legal requirements;
• Reporting on findings and proposing new policies or amendments to existing policies;
• Editing and finalizing new policies or amendments as required.

Employment Deliverable:
• Policy review checklist
• Final version of reviewed policy and guidelines
• Final report

Education Requirements:
• Minimum master’s degree in a related field preferred.

Experience Requirements:
• 5-6 years of experience in analyzing policies.
• Extensive experience in determining if policies align with objectives.
• Exceptional ability to determine policy oversights and omissions.
• Advanced ability to recommend new policies or amendments and prepare draft versions.
• In-depth knowledge of legal considerations relevant to policies.
• Advanced knowledge of conventions and standards in policy writing.
• Experience in preparing reports and presenting findings.
• Excellent record keeping, computer and communication skills.

Additional Requirements:
• Ability to think strategically, develop initiatives as well as to provide innovative solutions and advice through learning. 

Job Location:
• Dhaka, Bangladesh

Expected Places of Travel:
• Cox’s Bazar (if required)

Salary/Payment:
• Negotiable.
