RTM International is going to appoint skilled professional in the following positions for “Provision of Health and GBV response service to Rohingya Refugees in Coxs Bazar, Bangladesh “. JOB SUMMARY:
The primary function of the GBV Coordinator is to provide technical guidance and supervision for the successful implementation of all protection activities, in particular GBV prevention and response activities in RTM International. She is to ensure quality of implementation of protection-related program components, guide development of future protection activities, and provide support to protection staff in the field sites. She will also be responsible for managing donor relations and RTMI representation in sector level. The position is based in Ukhiya, Cox’s Bazar with extensive field travel.

Master’s degree in Women studies, Social work, gender studies,
humanitarian affairs, human rights, development studies, international
relations, and/or other related social science disciplines from a
recognized University.Experience and other Requirements:
• Minimum 5-7 years of field experience, including experience in GBV program management and protection/GBV coordination.
• Experience in designing and managing GBV project in an NGO (recommended).
• Experience of working with the Rohingya Refugee population in the refugee camps preferable.
• Experience leading inter-agency coordination mechanisms with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Experience with proposal writing, reporting and M&E.
• Awareness and demonstrable knowledge of how GBV manifests in humanitarian settings and ability to describe context-specific prevention and response actions.
• Demonstrable knowledge of the critical components to facilitate effective inter-agency coordination.
• Experience working with youth-centered activities preferred.
• Relevant contextual experience strongly preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Good ability to write and speak English preferable.
• Experience in Program planning, implementation and capacity development.
• Human Resources Management and Training.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment, to remain flexible to a changing environment, and to make decisions independently.
