RTMI, in recent years, has initiated its work in the Nutrition front. Since 2010 it is working very closely with USAID’s FANTA project in nutrition costing and policy advocacy issues. It has conducted a lot of studies and formative research on Zinc, Iron supplement for MI. It has been contracted by NNS for conducting research on the perceived quality of nutrition services and satisfaction of community people and their current nutrition status. Under a contract with HKI and JSI, RTMI team is assisting the SPRING (Strengthening Partnerships, Results and Innovations in Nutrition Globally) Bangladesh project in conducting “Behavior Change Communications Research: Homestead Garden Choices and Men’s Food Purchasing”. Apart from research and advocacy activities, RTMI is also supporting implementation of Nutrition Interventions in camps as a core partner of UNICEF in implementing nutrition program and activities.
