Congratulations to Dr. Nargis Sultana on her selection for MISP TOT in Thailand!

 

Dr. Nargis Sultana, MBBS, MPH, Medical Coordinator, RTM International working in the RTMI-UNFPA, SRHR Project in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, is joining into prestigious 5-days regional Training of Trainers (TOT) program in Bangkok focused on the Minimum Initial Service Package for Sexual and Reproductive Health in Crisis Situations (MISP). The program is organized by The UNFPA Asia Pacific Regional Office (APRO) in collaboration with the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) Humanitarian Programme and scheduled from October 23rd to 27th, 2023 at Bangkok.

We are congratulating Dr. Nargis for her achievement. She is serving as Medical Coordinator of UNFPA assisted project for displaced Rohingya population as well as the host community population leaving in Bangladesh under implementation by a reputed NGO of Bangladesh named as Research, Training and Management (RTM) International. She holds an MBBS degree from Dhaka Community Medical College and an MPH degree from RTM Al-Kabir Technical University, reflecting her strong commitment to a well-rounded education in both medicine and public health. Her dedication and tireless efforts in this role have been instrumental in improving the lives of countless individuals in the region.

This regional Training of Trainers (TOT) program will enhance her expertise, knowledge and empower her with specialized knowledge and skills in sexual and reproductive health within crisis situations, ensuring that she is well-prepared, with her team, to address the unique challenges of the humanitarian context, in the days to come.
